What we won't do

Nothing deletes without your explicit tap. Every removal is a confirmed action. No “smart cleanup,” no auto-runs, no surprises.
Files never leave your accounts. We index metadata locally. Your photos and documents stay where they live.
Removed items go to your provider's trash. Google Drive, iCloud, Dropbox — they all keep deleted items for ~30 days. You can restore them.
We don't sell your data. Ever. Not to advertisers, not to AI training, not to anyone. We make money from Premium subscriptions — that's it. No ads.
Google Drive deletions require a second confirmation — in Google's own Picker. We don't request broad Drive access. Every Drive cleanup opens Google's official file-selection screen; you pick the files, then they move to trash. Nothing happens before that step.

Does CirroGuide upload my photos or files?
No. We read file names, sizes, dates, and content hashes only — locally on your device. Your photos and documents never leave your phone or your cloud accounts for our servers.
What happens when I tap “Free up space”?
We move the items you selected to your provider's trash — Google Drive trash, iCloud Recently Deleted, Dropbox deleted files. You confirm before anything moves. You can restore items from your provider's trash for about 30 days.
For Google Drive specifically, an extra confirmation step is built in: Google's own Drive Picker opens and you must select the files yourself before any deletion proceeds. This is a deliberate safety layer — CirroGuide cannot delete Drive files without that explicit selection.
